Hi! Last week Waipahihi School took part in wacky hair day. Wacky hair day is so we can raise money for the westpac helicopter. There was a lot of cool hairstyles, one of them had straws through her hair it was crazy and a lot of other cool hair style but some had dye in there hair it was not very cool but some people had cool dye in their hair like gold and yellow. Some children did not have any hair style but they still look cool because they mucked up there hair it was awesome!

Hi Room 1, That's great that you all had a crazy hair day like we did. It's a fun way to raise money for a good cause. Some of our teachers still have a bit if pink in their hair from the colour they put in and I saw one of the boys in another room who still had some green in his ear. It reminds me of a story by Leo Lionni called "The Greentail Mouse". I must read that to my class. Maybe you will be able to find it too. Ms Donnell Kaipara Flats
